Talking about money shouldn't feel like a test.
Most money apps are built for one person. Jointwise is built for the questions two people ask each other.
Who's paying for what?
Every shared bill, who's paid in, and what's still to come, in one place you both see.
Is this actually fair?
Split by what you each earn, 50/50, or your own agreed share. Change it whenever life does.
Can we afford it?
Ask before a big spend, plan for yearly bills, and try a what-if before you decide.
How it works
One calm place for the money you share.
Home
Everything you share, at a glance
What's come in, what's gone out, who sends what to the joint account, and how each budget line is doing. No spreadsheets, no mental maths.

Spending
Import a statement, or add it in seconds
Drop in your bank statement and Jointwise sorts it, learning as you go. Paid cash at the market? Add it from your phone in two taps.

Monthly check-in
A money date that's actually kind
Answer privately first, so neither of you anchors the other. Then go through the month together, agree what's next, and close it off.

Messages
Little notes, not nagging
One-tap thank-yous, a quick 'can we?' before a big spend, and a calm feed of every change, so nothing comes as a surprise.

What if…?
Try it before you decide
A pay rise, a new car, a wedding or a quieter month: see what it does to each of you, your savings and your debt-free date first.

Three steps. No finance degree.
Set up together
About 20 minutes on the sofa: your pay, your shared bills, how you'd like to split them. Bring an old spreadsheet if you have one.
Live your month
Import a statement or add spending as you go. Jointwise sorts it and keeps you both up to date.
Check in once a month
A short, kind money date with an agenda that writes itself. Close the month and start the next one clear.
A month with Jointwise, in under a minute.
From payday to the monthly check-in.
Everything two people need. Nothing they don't.
Fair splits
By income, 50/50 or your own share, line by line if you like.
Savings pots
Holidays, a home, a safety net: see each one grow.
Debt payoff plans
Avalanche or snowball, with your debt-free date.
Pay that varies
Freelance or shifts? Budget on a quiet month, buffer the rest.

MOT, insurance, Christmas: a little aside each month.

Your own spending is yours. Share what you choose.

Questions couples ask
Do we need a joint account?
No. Plenty of couples pay shared bills from their own accounts. Jointwise keeps track of who's paid what and who owes whom, and you settle up whenever suits you.
Does it connect to my bank?
Not yet: bank connections are on the way. For now, import a statement from your bank (most let you download a CSV) or add spending as you go. It's quicker than it sounds, and Jointwise learns how you sort things.
Can my partner see everything I spend?
Only what you share. Joint money is shared, of course. Your own spending, pots and debts are yours, and you choose whether your partner can see them.
What if one of us earns more, or our pay changes?
Split in proportion to income, 50/50, or a share you agree. If pay varies month to month, Jointwise budgets on a quiet month and helps you build a buffer from the good ones.
Can I start on my own?
Yes. Set things up, then invite your partner with a link whenever you're ready.
What if we split up?
There's a calm, step-by-step way to separate your finances, and support if money is being used to control you. A quick exit button is always one tap away.
